    The Ba Gua

This is the Ba Gua, an octagonal representation of the eight directions, each correlative to a trigram. It is used in Feng Shui to map your home for its most auspicious uses. There are slight variations in the meanings of the Ba Gua trigrams depending on the source. This layout is generally applied to the home as a whole, in selecting where to have the kitchen, bedrooms, office, etc. It was derived from the Luo Shu Square, as is seen below:

The Luo Shu Square & Ba Gua

When personally mapping the spaces of a home, the individuals must be considered. The calculations of the Kua numbers comes into play.

    The Nine Kua Attributes

Above are the nine Kua Attributes, that are based upon the individual, and calculated with their birth information. These intepretations are usually mapped within each room, to apply the knowledge of both auspicious & unauspicious directions.

    Entry for April 14, 2007
    Dear Everyone
I feel much better today after having a rough ending of the week. I had a good time at the Independence Association meeting since it was short and sweet. I was continuing to do well at my job at Bull Moose and also had met quite a few of my Independent Living Goals. I felt very proud until I went to KFC and felt nervous because there were several people there who I knew from Mobius.
Walter went on an errand at Staples and I walked over to Burger King to get a fruit drink called High-C. There was a hot red-headed guy there who looked like a cross between Jason and my friend online who has a crooked nose. I got a BBQ sandwhich which was excellent and Walter shared with me some fries and a roll. He and Vikki are usually very sweet except recently they've been quite judgemental and that was making me angry, as well as the voices in my head confusing me since I couldn't always tell what others were saying was real or the voices since they were mimicking them.
There was a staff who works with them. She is very sweet usually but can be somewhat critical sometimes because I think it's hard for her as a single mom to raise a child on her on since she gets frustrated with her situation and takes it out on her boyfriend, who can be hard to deal with sometimes according to her. I got quite mad since I think Josh is quite nice, he's done quite a bit of work to get sober finally and done very well.
I think she should be more appreciative of it instead of gossiping behind his back about it. But I shouldn't talk because I can be quite outspoken about my feelings without regards to others but in general I have been doing better at restraining myself thanks to AA, my family, my friends and my totem animals, the Faery Folk and other astral beings besides what I've listed (I don't mean my family or friends of course lol!). I love being in a in a magickal relationship with the with faery folk and dragons as well).
Recently I've seen 11 geese all in all, whose medicine means travel to legendary places and another lesson which I can't remember. I don't have the right book with me, I do have Animal Wise but not Animal Speak, unless it's in my bag. I'll go look in it now--nope it's not there. I wish I had remembered to bring it with me along with the medicine cards. Oh btw the way my mom is going to get the guitar fixed at The Music Center if it can be fixed.
Anyhow I also had an encounter with Poof our cat. He's called that because he vanishes quickly as if he's a magick cat, which I think he is. I wish I had him as my familiar. I am being trained to watch over Chiquita and Buckshot The Hiltons dogs. Dogs teach playfulness, loyalty and protection. (This is all according to Ted Andrews who I have found is a very accurate interpreter of animal wisdom).
The other birds I've seen are robins with their orange breasts and brown feathers, as well as a pheobe that Jaki pointed out to me. I had a good friend named Pheobe once a long time ago. I don't know what wisdom the pheobe can teach, although it did fly west over the water. I am going to look that up in Animal Speak when I get back and edit the blog. I hope you enjoy it and let me know if my blog needs work in terms of personality, I am writing as if I would be talking with you to make it seem more down-to-earth and less scholarly which is not in and of itself bad but it can be dry sometimes like a text book or a paper.
Yesterday I was driven by my mom down to Portland to see Jesus Christ Superstar with my best friend Mitch. At first I was in a bad mood earlier yesterday morning because Jaki was pissing me off and also cause I hadn't slept that great. I had to take some risprodal to get me to relax. I've been tossing and turning in my sleep a lot except for recently with my new medication, concerta. It helps me stay focus and concentrate as well as relax enough so I can fall asleep. The only other time I had a hard time sleeping was when the plows outside the window were growling as the scraping the icy snow off the ground after the snowstorm we had last week. Jesus Christ Superstar was fantastic, great acting, great light show, and great music.
